Everybody loves an original, and you're not likely to find too many things more original than this. It would be an understatement to call the Goode Company Barbeque on Kirby a Houston institution. It's a tradition that has stood the test of time.

The food was amazing as usual! I bring my whole family here to eat at least twice a month, but after last night, probably never again. The group of young waitresses they have hired for service are rude and uninformative, they made my 9 yr old girl cry last night. I mean, McDonald's has carried itself with more grace through these hard times. Now I have to find a new BBQ place just for service even though Goode Company's BBQ is better. Trust me, just wait till they get rid of the new hires before going back, they can't be bothered by the likes of paying and loyal customers.

Outstanding! Brisket literally melts in your mouth and the Spicy Pork has just the right amount of flavor. The Baked beans, which were the best I have ever tasted, surprised with a combination of sweetness and spice! Jambalaya is also a winner. Don't forget to save room for the Pecan Pie! The BBQ experience provided by the Mike and his crew is better than "Goode"!
